training, planning, developing and implementing solution in the
telecommunication field, with extensive knowledge in telecommunication, and
AudioVideo Teleconference Engineer/Technician. Provided Engineering &

TECHNICIAN (GSE-12). Performs installation, test, troubleshooting, programs,
maintenance, and repair of digital switching equipment, attendant consoles,
power and ringing relay rack, miscellaneous telephone, radio, fire alarms,
intrusion alarms, and computer data circuits and related apparatus required
in the central switching office. Uses advanced knowledge to analyze
system failures and other unusual system occurrences to isolate the source of
the problem and determine failure causes. Perform strenuous physical
activities including, but not limited to lifting and/or moving up to 100
pounds work in confined spaces (UE & amp; CEV huts, utility holes), and
the ability to work aloft ( climbing ladders). Knowledge of Cat 5, 5E,
and 6 cable standards, including cable termination, and infrastructure
installation IAW USG standards for network classification separation;
Perceive differences in wire and cable colors. Train
in copper and fiber termination and testing required, knowledge of
EIA/TIA, NEC, IEEE and OSHA standards.
OUTSIDE PLANT TECHNICIAN (GSE-12). Place aerial and underground
copper and fiber cable, perform construction work such as digging holes,
placing cable, air pipe and inner duct in various types of conduit systems
and open excavations. Perform various jobs with copper splicing and assist in
fiber splicing, perceive differences in wire and cable colors. Work with
heavy duty power equipment and small tools in the installation, repair and
maintenance of outside plant facilities. Meet 275 lbs weight limit due
to safety restrictions. Climb poles up to 18 feet high, climb ladders and
work aloft with hand tools, and lift and/or pull up to 120 lbs. Work
outside in all kinds of weather, work in attics, basements, crawl spaces,
manholes and other similar places. Use computers including hand-held
models to update work status and check new assignments.
Performed Punch down using 66 and 110
punch down block. Collaborates with Center Operations Customer Service
to ensure all Field work associated with customer and infrastructure orders
are completed on time. Provides support in resolving service and
maintenance issues/problems. Provides On Site dispatch information
including arrival and departure. Perform basic to advanced
troubleshooting and repair for services from tap to (CPE) Customer Premise
Equipment for residential and commercial customers. Complete
disconnects, downgrades, upgrades, reconnects, and installations.
Conform to Quality, Security and Safety control guidelines, (such as OSHA,
FCC, NEC, NESC; video, internet, telephone).
Monitored CLI for signal leak. Climb
pole, performed pole transfer. Installation of ducts and conduits,
pulling cables, and terminating, testing, splicing, and repairing copper,
coaxial, and fiber optic cabling. Test and certify Category 5/6 UTP
cabling, fiber optic and main feeder cable with ohm meters, toners, and
Optical Time Domain Reflect meters (OTDR). Installed and
troubleshoot telephone service, Punch down block, Maintain phone service for
